International Trophy of Students’ Talent (TITE)
The present regulation shall apply to Cheerleading competitions in the International Trophy of Student Talents. It has to be read and approved by all participants.
Each team must have at least 5 members.
All the complaints and critics about the organization of Cheerleading competition and about the other teams\countries, must be solved before the end of the competition.
All the complaints will be managed by Cheerleading competition staff members.
Jury decisions are final.
The jury will be composed by experienced Cheerleading jurors, who will ensure conformity with all the Cheerleading competition rules. The experienced jurors will ensure also an objective judgment and an expert opinion on the performances.
Code of conduct
- Follow the rules.
- Respect other teams, viewers and jurors.
- Choreography, music and uniforms must be selected properly, with due regard for the environment and for the viewers.
- Any violent\gross\racist or unsporting behaviour will lead to exclusion.
- Follow the staff instructions and decisions.
- Anybody who won’t follow that regulation, can be excluded from the competition.
Choreography starts at first sound (music note or voice command) or at first movement. It ends at last music note or when the team stay in a final pose.
Each team must bring a CD named as its university, and a pen-drive with a copy of the music. For each performance the music must start with the start of the CD.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PERFORMANCE
La performance must be carried out with the cheerleading special techniques. La performance must include arm movements, jumps, acrobatics and pyramids. It must include music.
Pompons are mandatory for girls and optional for boys.
Choreographies will be evaluated on the basis of criteria set by the TITE2018 jurors.
A good performance shall be based on a good practice of the cheerleading elements, the creativity, the choreography and the team spirit.
Will be evaluated :
The choice and realisation of technical movements, a good technique and a good body position.
- The pompons technique.
- The choice and realisation of original dance techniques.
- The rhythm, the team spirit and the music interpretation.
Our ambition is to offer a wide range of activities that will allow each and every student to fight for the colours of their universities. Of course, fair play remains the key word in these encounters. We also wish for students to meet other people and exchange with them at the international lever in one of the most touristic region of France.
The International Trophy of Students’ Talent (TITE) takes place overs a day in the 18th of May. We have planned a day of sports competition and activities on the campus of Luminy with handball, basketball, volleyball and so many competitions but also inflatable structures will be there to provide fun even if you are not into sports competitions.
